I booked my flights to Quesnel BC through Air Canada. I feel that communication between the customers and the two airlines could be improved. However, once in a challenging situation with transferrring to connecting flights, the personnel out of the Vancouver South Terminal were courteous and helpful. The attendant on my flight was also very efficient and professional.

Fleet is very unreliable, there seems to be an hour or longer delay on 70% of the flights. (At least the ones I’ve experienced so far) Worst one I’ve had was delayed for 6 hours. Don’t book with CMA if you want to get to your destination on time. Very unreliable service.

Our flight was delayed, which is completely understandable. When a fishing trip that is as expensive as this one is delayed for any amount of time, that’s always difficult. And I’m guessing in other circumstances, I wouldn’t even have bothered to write a review. You would think that the airline would do all they can to be accommodating at the airport when their chartered flight is delayed. That starts with better communication. Lastly, they decide to give you a voucher for breakfast that doesn’t actually pay for breakfast, it only pay for a portion of your breakfast. The airline would be better off to not even offer a breakfast voucher rather than come off cheap. We will look for other alternatives such as Pacific Coastal on our next fishing trip, rather than fly this airline.

The flights are perfectly fine, but the YVR shuttle is more like every 45 minutes than every 15 minutes like they said… Edit: I will make a recommendation to anyone reading this. If you’re trying to go downtown from the South Terminal, you can also take the #412 city bus which stops right outside the terminal. Takes about 10 minutes to get to Bridgeport and is rarely busy. Faster way to get downtown.

During the recent weather anomaly throughout the province this past week a lot of flights got delayed numerous times. However CMA really came through for us by bringing in staff on Christmas Eve & a plane to ensure everyone got to their loved ones & the staff all did so with a smile on their face. One flight from Vancouver to Quesnel & a returning flight to Vancouver. What a great airline with great staff. Thank you so much.
