I recently flew with Cape Air and honestly, it was such a fun and memorable experience! I wasn’t sure what to expect at first since it’s a smaller airline, but I ended up loving it way more than I thought I would. The planes are tiny compared to what most people are used to—like, you can literally see right into the cockpit and there are only a few rows of seats—but that’s part of what makes it so cute and special. It almost feels like you’re on a private flight. The boarding process was super fast and relaxed, nothing like the chaotic lines and crowds at big airports. The whole vibe felt really local and personal. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and it felt like they genuinely cared about getting everyone where they needed to go safely and comfortably. Once we were in the air, the views were incredible. Because you’re flying lower than on big commercial jets, you get these up-close scenic views of the coastline, little islands, and boats in the water. It felt more like a sightseeing tour than just transportation. The flight itself was quick and smooth, and the landing was surprisingly gentle for such a small aircraft. Cape Air is definitely different from the big-name airlines, but in the best way. It’s low-key, charming, and perfect for short regional hops—especially if you’re traveling to or from places like Cape Cod, Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, or other hard-to-reach spots. If you’re looking for something a little more fun and personal than your typical airport experience, I totally recommend giving Cape Air a try. I’ll definitely be flying with them again!
