Small but easy to maneuver. The baggage carousel needs replacement lots of noises when running and runs very slow! To rent cars inside airport which was handy then you walk to deck to pick up cars. Tried to upgrade wanted to charge $550 almost as much as paying for vehicle in first place, very pitiful!

The Burlington Airport would have scored five stars except for the $4.49 Kind candy bar that I purchased at the gate. The Airport is easy to navigate. Rental cars are readily available in the parking garage. After hours car return in is a snap. The airport is in the midst of a major expansion, so I'm hoping it will only get better. $4.49 for a candy bar is a bit much; it makes one wonder who is on the take in this deal.

This airport is great. It’s relatively small, so it’s not packed with people, and the TSA folks are surprisingly friendly—I was literally fist-bumped by the TSA guy after passing through security. But the best part is that the airport has games and a piano in the terminal. And not lame games: we’re talking shuffleboard, ping pong, giant checkers and chess, and foosball. Probably the most fun I’ve had waiting for a flight at the airport!

It’s a small cute airport. I saw about 8 gates in boarding area. There are some restaurant and shops before and after security. The check-in area is also next to baggage claim and rental car desks. The crew is efficient, we disembarked within couple of minutes of landing and baggage handling was also done in 10 minutes. The airport is mostly clean. Saw a lot of construction going on. Lots directions and signs available for each area/section. They have a skywalk from terminal to parking lot, very convenient for picking up rental cars.

Visiting my brother in Grand Isle led me to the Skinny Pancake, located airside at the BTV terminal in Burlington, Vermont. Arrived with a seamless experience through TSA (it has Pre-Check but not CLEAR), I had time for breakfast and a pre-flight G&T. Abi was bar side. Herself a world traveler, she represented the absolute best in both bartending and Vermont humanity. As she met each patron with poise and courtesy, she was attentive and engaging. My experience at the bar was matched by what I found in the airport. BTV is transforming into a destination location. Go there with kids - they will love it! There was a giant chess set, giant dominos, foosball, table tennis, and more. There were quiet spaces for nursing, and a room just for toddlers – airy, safe, and clean. I found more than ample seating with power outlets nearby. Although I know of it only through the BTV website, I understand the airport participates in the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program, to encourage inclusivity, acceptance and understanding. I learned that the program offers a simple tool for you to share that you have a hidden disability voluntarily. Simply by wearing the Sunflower, you’re just letting everyone know that you might need extra help, understanding, or just more time.
