One of the worst airlines we’ve ever experienced. We had a trip planned for almost 1 years pre booked to Egypt and Jordan for our 40th wedding anniversary. The flight plan was from Las Vegas to Chicago to London to Cairo. The return flight was Jordan to Chicago to Las Vegas. Once the Las Vegas flight was delayed it caused a cascade of missing connecting flight. British airways did nothing to help us rebook. The one flight we were rebooked on had electrical issues and was cancelled for the night requiring us to stay overnight in Chicago. When we arrived in Chicago I immediately contacted a British Airways representative at the gate for the flight leaving for London. She would not help us even though we booked our trip with British Airways. She was arrogant, disrespectful and dismissive. She said to contact American Airlines while being sarcastic and laughing at our situation. The only flight the next day going to London was from San Francisco. We had to fly back across the country to San Francisco and wait a whole day in the airport because our luggage was not only not with us but was separated and arriving at different times 11:30 AM and 4:30 PM. Our flight was scheduled to leave for London approximately 7:30 PM. So we had to be at the airport all day to intercept our luggage and to physically check it on to the flight going to London. After 3 days in limbo, wearing the same clothes and 30 hours of travel we finally arrived at our destination. In the process of getting new flights to get to our destination we discovered that British Airways cancelled our return flights for 2 1/2 weeks later. On several occasions during the trip I was forced to contact customer service to try to get return flights home to no avail. British Airways outsources their customer service to a 3rd world country such as India. The representatives were incredibly difficult to understand and were of no help rebooking. They said there were no 2 flights available for the return home for 2 days after our tour ended. I insisted on speaking to a supervisor but was told on several occasions they are too busy and unavailable. I actually had to book a return flight home on an entirely different airline. We were never able to use our paid for return tickets. I paid for additional tickets and booked return flights with Royal Jordanian to be able to return home. I immediately filed a grievance with British Airways for compensation for delayed luggage for 2 days and not fulfilling their obligation for our paid return flight. It has been over a month and I’ve received 2 emails in this time stating, this same statement,“Thanks for your patience. Our Customer Relations team are really busy at the moment, which means it's taking longer than we'd like to get back to you with a full response. We'll be in touch as soon as possible.” I would strongly urge you to never use British Airways. They ruined our trip and take no responsibility. Their reviews are dismal for a reason.

I flew 2x with them and both times never in time. First tome an hour late, second more than 1,5h. Time wasters, wasting clients time!!! Why it is so difficult to commit to promised times?? Overpromised!! Somebody is not doing theirs job with time management! I would suggest to Get rid of that manager who manage get departures in time! Heard twice excuse plane needs cooling down, what a scary thing to say to people! Promised wifi, had no wifi! Feel sorry for crew, real responsible ones sitting comfy in theirs chairs and do nothing

Customer service not the best but it was ok. Flights were a little more cramped than I anticipated. Not many announcements by the captain but maybe that's normal for a British flight? Anyway I would say any flight you can walk away from is a good one :)

On our trip from London to Las Vegas on April 2nd, 2025 we had an unbelievably bad service experience. Every single other person in premium economy was served their main in flight meal. Except us. The 2 female cabin attendants walked by severaltimes & we finally got one of their attention, but still had no food. We pushed the crew button & no one responded. Finally, a male attendant named Karn brought one tray of food. He rudely said, "Here's your food" and shoved the tray at my wife. When we said we would like the lamb menu choice, we were simply told that the cabin crew mistakenly missed us and that there wasn't any lamb or chicken left. OK. Then why didn't the 2 female cabin attendants just say that and apologize to us? Instead, they sent a male attendant back that basically scolded us for asking for one of the menu choices we had been given. He said others were also inconvenienced. Not that we could see! Everyone else had their meals and were almost finished by then. It's not that big of a cabin so we could easily see what everyone was eating. So, why wasn't that simply explained to us from the beginning, I asked him. He said he didn't like my tone. They found two ravioli meals, finally and said here, take it or leave it as they shoved it at us. Hardly the kind of condensation and snottyness we paid for in premium economy. This incident ruined an already difficult 10 hour plane ride. I can easily now see how bad incidents occur on plane flights. The 2 females never acknowledged their mistake or apologized. That's really all that was required! Instead, we were made to feel like somehow we had done something wrong. I'm glad I was able to maintain the calm demeanor a 72 year old man is expected to have. We were in seats 24 K and 24 J on flight 275. We have taken this same flight several times and will pursue other options going forward. We hope that this review will help resolve some simple customer service training issues.
