I really appreciate today's helicopter pilot for a very special memory, but I'm sorry I didn't hear your name very carefully at the time! If I ever get back to Las Vegas, I hope to be your passenger again!

Smart little airport just the right size for the needs of passengers passing through. Utilised for people busing out of Vegas and flying on to the Canyon. Interesting little gift shop and main waiting area is pretty much it, aside from the clean restrooms. Everyone working here was pleasant and happy to help. Lifting it to 5* is the views if you choose to fly from here to the Canyon.

This airport is located in Boulder City right at the foot of Hoover Dam. This airport has a small airstrip for small 20 seater aeroplanes and helicopters. The best way to see Grand Canyon is by air and this airport serves that purpose. We did the aerial tour of Grand Canyon on our second day at Vegas. As the plane is small everyone can get a breathtaking view of the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and the Colorado River. The pilots seemed professional as we had smooth take off and landing. You can upgrade to co-pilot's seat for 40 to 60 dollars if you are lucky. The office was nice with cooperative staff, clean restrooms and a shop and starbuck's coffee. The Grand Canyon tour is operated by some papillon air company. One thing unique about this office is the ceiling fan is made of Helicopter rotar blades.ππΌ There are headphones on board to give you informative commentary on Grand Canyon in four languages. They also have a outside sitting area if you want to eat something or just sit relaxed while waiting your turn to fly. We saw some sky divers also in the air.π

Visited for a sight seeing flight over to Page Arizona. Small and clean local airport. Staff were great and our brief stay was easy. Also has the biggest ceiling fan I've ever seen!
