2024-July. This is a small airport. We had to de-board outside upon arrival. We arrived 2 hours before our departure and we got our luggage checked in and we went through security in about 5 minutes. The airport was clean. 5-stalled ladies' restroom & water bottle refill station is across Gate C. There was one nursing pod beside Gate C. There were 2 quick bites stores when we arrived early in the morning. Benches do not have the armrest so we can lie down across the seats. There are plug-in stations along the windows. Have a safe flight ✈️.

Canadians be careful flying out of here. U.S. customs opens up 2 lanes these days, promises 70 minute waits but it actually takes 3 hours to cross the border. I almost missed my flight. If you are flying out of here, try to cross the border 8-9 hours before your flight. Waiting 3 hours and getting sent to secondary will pretty much ensure you miss your flight. Crossing the border into the USA isn’t simple anymore.

I never thought I'd have a pleasant experience at an airport. The airport staff are genuinely very kind and helpful. Everything is very clean. Things are run efficiently. Great airport!

Sister airport to the Abbotsford airport, but on the other side of the border. Like the Abby airport, this one has 5 gates too and offers some decent flight options to US and some international(?) destinations through low cost carriers. Because of the small size, you tend to be in-and-out in no time. Security is pretty easy as well. Have found the staff here (of Allegiant air, which is what I have flown) to be very helpful and courteous. Airport also has long term car parking with options to park closer (more expensive) or at a small distance to the airport (cheaper at about USD10/day) with shuttle service. I have noticed though that this airport typically does not show as a "Nearby" airport when searching with SEA or YVR. So I have to literally search with BLI

Bellingham International Airport – 9.5/10 BLI is a great option for anyone looking to skip the chaos of larger airports like YVR or SeaTac. It offers a clean, well-organized terminal with a friendly, small-town feel that makes the whole travel experience smoother and less stressful. Staff are helpful, lines are short, and everything from check-in to security is efficient. Daily parking is only $10 USD, which is a huge plus, and rental cars are easy to access right on site. The airport also has a small restaurant that serves a solid espresso and some light meal options—great for a quick stop before boarding. While it’s not a large airport, it covers all the essentials with ease and comfort. A super convenient and pleasant alternative for regional travel.
