    My stay at the hotel was decent. One star for a clean room. Two starts for the service: 1. The staff was pleasant enough, 2. There was hot breakfast. This hotel does have an upfront $100 deposit (Damages fee for sheets, towels, etcetera). Thankfully, I brought my own sheets, blanket, pillow. I understand hotels need to protect their property, but to hold a deposit before a guest has even stayed is to assume guilt before innocence. That's no way to treat any guest. Good business practice is built on mutual trust - If I damage something, by all means, charge me. But taking money upfront "just in case" sends a strong message that every guest is a potential problem before they even check in. Most hotels inspect a room after checkout and only charge if there's an actual issue. This is the right balance between protecting the property and respecting the guests. I've stayed at hotels and I've worked them as well. The very core principles of 'Hospitality' are: Respect, Trust, Generosity, Empathy and Integrity. It's disappointing when companies choose policies that are more along the lines of punishment for past guests errs than hospitality. That's not a way to treat "guests" in the field of hospitality. Respect should go both ways.

    The stay here was great. I would like to suggest that the hotel look into getting new mattresses for the bed. My wife and I slept OK but the mattress had sunken curves and it made it a little difficult to get a good night sleep.When we slept towards the middle or the edge we actually slept better. The location is perfect, close to shopping and the restaurants which made it nice. Staff was great and very accommodating.

    Pro this property is at a great location, not too far from the Navy base graduation and across the street from Six Flags great adventure, and very affordable the cons. The staff is very rude and nonchalant. We got stuck on their elevator with a one year-old and while being stuck, trying to call the front desk for 20 minutes, we were met by hello just calm down no kind of empathy no kind of compassion very unprofessional then on top of that there was a fire at the hotel at 6:30 in the morning so you can imagine how our vacation went! Manager or owner did nothing! No kind of compensation did not give any kind of apology or even acknowledge anything of their wrongdoing will not ever be coming back there.

    Rooms were very nice beds comfortable as well. The staff was very friendly and caring. My wife fell and tore a tendon they asked me every day how she was doing and helped us as much as they could. The towel and wash cloth thing and breakfast is what took it down a star. But if you want a friendly caring staff this is definitely the place. Oh we were there to see my daughter graduate from Navy boot camp and they did give us an extra towel to accommodate her.

    Everything was out of order. the jacuzzi, the vending machines, and soon after the elevator as well. My mother and daughter both got stuck on the elevator for 20 minutes and the staff was really rude about it even though my mom started having a panic attack. The staff was also very rude and not friendly at all. We had to carry all of our suitcases down 3 flights of stairs and even then the staff was rude when my mother asked for help. Worst hotel experience ive had in my life. Dont stay here
