They use facial recognition technology that makes check-in and boarding smooth and efficient. The airport is always clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. Staff are helpful and the overall experience is stress-free. Highly recommend flying in and out of BGR if you’re traveling to or from Maine!

Small and elderly place but the staff - at all levels - were helpful and it wasn’t crowded. Clear can’t be used here (yet?) Easy to get in and out. Def use your GPS then follow signs. Convenient to Bangor.

Bangor International Airport is a 5 gate airport. If you are 45 mins early, security is a breeze. Rental car pickup and return is super easy and convenient, Literally steps away from baggage pickup, like 30. Everyone here is friendly and efficient. So laid back from the chaos at bigger airports. The cafe by the gates is actually pretty good too.

They work their butts off to make sure that you get out on time. And they succeeded. We had a flight to Orlando Florida in the middle of a main blizzard and there were no delays! I saw ground crew in the middle of gusty winds, blizzard snow, and they were out there scraping and shoveling to make sure that they could get those planes in. What an amazing effort by a wonderful crew to make sure that there were no delays in people‘s travel plans. I should also mention that Bangor international had the cheapest tickets of any other airport in New England.

Moved pretty quickly through TSA and off to the gate. Different layout in that food and restrooms are on one side of terminal with a few gates while other gates are a hike away with no services. At least they tell you that up front if you're at gates 7 or 8. Nice entryway to Maine.
