Great FBO, great airport, good prices, and very friendly people! This airport has a lot of history behind it and is a true gem. It’s in a great location convenience-wise near the city; located less than 5 miles from Downtown Detroit so you will be downtown in just minutes. No airline service because the current runways are a little short, but great for corporate charter jet service and other General Aviation. The airport itself is very safe, but it is located in the vicinity of a slightly dangerous, high crime area where you might not want to just walk around outside of the airport property especially after dark. All in all, this is a great airport and an asset to the city, don’t listen to the other negative reviews. The city better not close this airport! We use it and we want to see it be improved!

Awesome!!! Attended a Hanger Party with great people, endless food and my 10 yr. Old Grandson got a chance to actually fly a Cesna airplane! Even met a couple of Tuskegee Airmen! Thank You! To everyone who made this event possible.👍

City airport is a city treasure that must be preserved. There is a subculture of aviation enthusiasts who's pulse run through our beloved city. They strive to continue this legacy for our youth and offer programs andvteaining to encourage it. The airport is open at least 5 days a week with organizations and businesses ready to be patronized and supported.
