I went here for the annual Arlington skyfest and it did not disappoint!

This is such a beautiful airport I love all the mountains in the background. This my second time visiting this airport for Skyfest! I think I am going to make coming here a tradition and one day I will fly in instead of driving in. I am currently a student pilot working on getting my pilots license and can't wait to explore this airport by plane.

I have attended the Arlington Fly-In (50th Anniversary this year) every year for the last 5 years, as a part of Spencer Aircraft. It is always a fun time. Though whomever is running it is is kind of running it into the ground. Attendance is going down a bit. And some other things have changed. All in all, I'm happy we had another opportunity to attend.

We love to go to the Arlington fly-in every year, great people , camping, and planes to see. As well as good food.

Arlington Municipal may not be the biggest bird in the flock, but what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in charm. This is a tight-knit, with a private air field vibe where everybody seems to know everybody and if they don’t, they’ll still wave like they do. It’s the kind of airport where the hangars feel like neighborhood garages it keeps things smooth without the fuss, and the ramp is more community block party than concrete jungle. Perfect for GA pilots, plane spotters, and anyone who believes aviation is more about passion than terminals. Big jets can keep their mile-long runways, KAWO is proof that good things come in small airfields.
