10000/10. I’m a seasoned actor, have trained at 4 different studios within the valley (all of which are great!) BUT my heart lies with AZAA. I’ve taken multiple classes with multiple instructors and find that the approaches and atmosphere are the most aligned with my ability to progress. And as a bonus, the community has made a huge impact in my life! Love this place and these people with my whole heart!

AZAA is the real deal. I’m from California and have studied acting all over the Bay Area and beyond, and the quality of the instruction and the variety of classes is exceptional. I am predominantly working in the Improv space and Jacque is probably the best and most prolific instructor I’ve ever had. Highly recommend for people of all ages to feel welcomed and to hone their craft.

AZAA is my fun place. I have taken several classes and continue in ongoing classes and short intensive classes. I feel safe and nurtured while stretching my acting skills and abilities. The acting coaches are passionate and supportive. The coaches also support and appreciate my art in other forms, such as scriptwriting. I cannot recommend the improvisation class at Arizona Actors Academy enough! Liz, my instructor, is phenomenal. I loved the class so much I did two rounds, and it quickly became the highlight of my week. Liz creates such a supportive, fun, and creative environment that it’s impossible not to grow. The skills I learned naturally reflected in so many areas of my life. My confidence grew, my interactions with others became more dynamic,& I felt more connected to my creativity. As someone who works in entertainment, this class has been a game-changer for my on-camera performance. It also surprised me by enhancing how I engage with my toddler, particularly in playful and imaginative moments. This class has taught me to trust myself, follow my instincts, and let go of taking myself too seriously. All great lessons for personal and professional growth. I also made some great friends along the way. If you’re looking for a class that will challenge, inspire, and leave you feeling empowered, Arizona Actors Academy is the place to go. I enrolled at AZAA as a working director with a background in writing.. wanting to learn more about acting technique and to immerse myself on stage in a professional environment, and I could not have imagined coming to a better spot, particularly in Arizona. The teachers here are outstanding and not only do they teach from a historical, professional set of techniques and routines, they sincerely work with you to develop your skills and are very rigorous with their feedback - they want you to learn and they want you to become the best actor you can be, plain and simple. It's a professional environment where you get to work alongside other serious actors - you can go as far as you want with developing your skills and you'll always be met with a new challenge. I credit AZAA with helping my artistic development not only as an actor, but as a storyteller and filmmaker. Can't recommend this enough for anyone interested in acting - please go here over any other school in Arizona - you can start with their Fundamentals class which is a phenomenal place to learn the basics and go from there. You won't be disappointed and Brandy has done extensive work to offer professional level training at a price that is approachable and affordable.
