This was for sure one of the best experiences and adventures of my entire life, exciting and breathtaking. The pilot, Jon, and the girl, Lindsay, working on the ground, were clearly a consolidated team and knew perfectly what to do. It was an honour to see them put the hot air baloon together and have the pleasure to get on board. Jon made us all feel at ease despite the obvious trepidation and little fear it is normal to experience. I nearly had tears in my eyes when he shared how he made his personal dream come true, how he never gave up his greatest desire and worked hard to make it happen. I would recommend the experience and the crew to anyone who wants 100% satisfaction. .

We went for a sunrise flight with the crew on 5/25/2025. I had never been in a hot air balloon before but I had been dreaming of going on one for years. That dream finally became a reality with Apex balloons! Everyone was super kind, helpful and they all seemed to truly enjoy their job rather than seeing it as a chore. On our flight we got to do a "splash and dash" where we got to float on top of a pond and the basket of the balloon touched the water, we didn't get wet or anything just something super excited that we got to do! After our flight we celebrated with mimosas! The crew also took a lot of pictures and videos that they sent to us at the end of our flight which was such a cool bonus. So, I say all that to say this, there are many companies to go hot air ballooning with in the phoenix area, but I am so happy that we didn't go with anyone else and we ultimately picked this company and I know you'll be happy you did too. Highly recommend this company!!! We we're up longer than the other balloons and were notified the night before our first reservation that it was canceled due to wind but we had lovely conditions this morning for a once in a lifetime experience. Jon and Lindsay with APEX were top notch! Jon's knowledge, humor and experience with flying put riders at ease. Lindsay worked hard setting up and taking down the ballon and taking pictures before liftoff. Interesting info on balloon history with a mimosa toast afterward. Excellent experience from beginning to end. Thank you, Jon and Lindsay at APEX!
