The worst experience. Yesterday our flight with American Airlines out of MCO Airport was scheduled to depart 2:25pm to Chicago the flight was then delayed until 3:35. They then boarded the plane. They had us sit on the plane, on the run way for 3 hrs until after 6pm. They claim that it was the weather, then they said there were other flights ahead to take off. Then they told us they had to go to a open gate to get more gas. Because it wouldn't make it to Chicago. Once everyone was off the plane. They delayed it until 8pm then 9pm then told us that the staff was timed out and they were looking for more staff. 20 minutes after that the girl at the front desk told us our flight would be delayed until 10am the next day. And that she has worked 17 hrs and has no coworker to help her. Total B.S. so then everyone had to walk to across from gate 50 and gt $12 meal vouchers (What a joke) and 2 choices of the crapiest hotels in Orlando. With reviews of having roaches and bed bugs. Me, my family disabled and children stayed the night in the Airport. Because we weren't going to subject ourselves to those disgusting hotels. This airline knew from the start we weren't going to make it to Chicago and they gave us EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE! I will never fly with this airline again. And you all shouldn't trust them either.

My husband and I just received news that I am pregnant and was told I could travel and that I needed to cancel my flight. My husband called AA for assistance with the cancellation and A rep told him she was unable to cancel one flight and that he needed to cancel himself online. Upon doing so, the flight was cancelled for the both of us. I called AA Customer service and was transferred to supervisor Gabby for assistance since the original rep may not have had authority to reinstate the flight at the original price. Gabby took the time to reinstate my husband's flight at the original price and now my hubby is back on track to his dream destination. Although It's bitter sweet since I can't go, I know how much this trip means to my husband. Thank you sooo much for your great attitude, patience on getting things fix and knowledge of what AA is capable of doing. You are truly a blessing Gabby. -Stephanie Smith

The flight itself was very comfortable, but the WIFI did not work and the plug outlets did not work. Hopefully they fix this in the near future.

Infelizmente o desfecho com American Airlines não foi Bom. Fizemos uma viajem Sao Paulo , Orlando. Com Escala em Miami. A ida foi perfeita. Fomos muito bem atendidos e não tivemos nenhum contratempo. Já na Voltar. Primeiro houve um atraso pouco mais de 5 horas de Orlando para Miami. Por conta deste Atraso Perdemos nossa Conexão . Remarcaram por conta o Nosso Voo para o dia Seguinte . Ou seja, 22 horas depois. Cumprida às 22 horas de espera e sem assistência alguma, nossa estada foi ali mesmo nos Bancos do Aeroporto de Miami. Para nossa surpresa, quando achávamos que colocaríamos às 19;50. Foi nos avisado que a Aeronave estava com problemas técnicos Sendo assim começou mais uma maratona de atrasos . Depois de mais de 6 horas de atraso. A meia Noite conseguirão um voo para nós com decolagem a 1 uma da Manhã ou seja ficamos no AEROPORTO DE MIAMI POUCO MAIS DE 26 HORAS SEM ASSISTÊNCIA ALGUMA. EU,MINHA ESPOSA E MINHA FILHA DE 11 ANOS .NÃO FOMOS ATENDIDO NEM AO MENOS COM UM COBERTOZINHO PARA PASSARMOS A NOITE COM AR CONDICIONADO ATE O TALO NO AEROPORTO

This is absurd... my wife had a flight booked with American Airlines, one way and Delta Airlines for the return... unfortunately, she was hospitalized and the doctor forbade her from traveling for health reasons... Delta Airlines immediately refunded the amount paid without any questions, simply presenting the medical certificate... in contrast, American Airlines requested a medical report and other documents, all of which were sent, and even so, they refused to refund the amount paid... remembering that the notification was made well before the travel date, as per the American Airlines Refunds request - Case ID: 733099... in other words... a TERRIBLE company that doesn't respect the health of its passengers.
