DO NOT FLY WITH AA! 3pm flight to ORD Arrived late, resulting in missed connection to DFW and a whole day wasted at ORD. App is a buggy POS, help line is 90%automated to funnel you back to the app. Customer service is effective but slow, not conducive to the emergencies these people cause. Thank god we didn't have any checked bags. WOULD NOT RECOMEND.

This is the worst Airline and I will be avoiding it anyway possibly can in the future. If you check in first and don’t want to pay for your seats they will make no attempt to help and will separate you. I hate this company and will go out of my way to get people not to fly with them. Good Job AA

They lost my luggage. They found it, but it's the fact I had to wait an extra day before I could conduct my business.

AA boarded us on plane and deboarded us. Told us plane would be fixed in an hour. Boarded us a second time only to deboard again. Then told us it would be fixed again in another hour. Only to find out an hour later they would push us back 4 more hours. Causing us to miss our connect and not make it to Europe that day. Was told by gate personel that they couldn’t help us rebook and would need to call 800 number. This caused us to miss out on $700 in planned events and lodging and 1 of our few days for our once in a lifetime trip to Italy. AA won’t even listen to your complaints over the phone and requires you send email. Only to provide a measly 5000 reward points (equivalent of $50-$75). And to be honest, customer service wasn’t even nice via email. Pathetic customer service. Spend thousands on my AA credit card that I will now switch to Southwest, who has customer service who will actually help you and compensate you appropriately
