Just flew in with American Airlines. Went to see my grandkids in Wichita Kansas. I'm not a man made of money. We were only three minutes late and they charged us a rebooking fee at $75 a ticket. So for two people that's $150 for just 3 minutes. Also they charge you $30 to check in a bag under 50 lb. They also at the airport charge you $8 a day to park. The airline was constantly late all the way through this flight. We spent 30 hours extra on this trip. Shuffling from Gateway to Gateway in Dallas-Fort Worth. We also had our flight cancelled in Wichita Kansas and had to stay overnight before we could get back home. We have spent a total of 30 hours and the last two days trying to get out of Kansas. We just arrived home and we are bushed. This was my wife's first experience for flying. And I don't blame her for not wanting to fly ever again. My brother has been a very great pilot for American Airlines for over 30 years. I have been a military member of 20 years service. I have flown all over the United States. This is the worst experience with flying I've ever had in my life. We actually changed gates for taking off in Dallas-Fort Worth at least eight times. And had to wait an extra 4 hours in Wichita Kansas. And a total of 4 hours in Dallas-Fort Worth they changed gates eight times. Because it took an extra day to get home I was charged two extra days of parking. American Airlines is the most profitable airlines in the country. But they are definitely doing people dirty on their flights. They are never on time and they don't care how long you stay in the airport. They will keep you at their Mercy. 30 hours of our lives are wasted now. I could have spent those 30 hours with my grandkids. Instead I spent them in airport terminals. I feel people should start suing them for pain and suffering for waiting so long in airports . And staying overnight in a motel in a rough area Wichita Kansas called Old Town which is in the downtown area. Note to everybody old town is not a nice place to stay. If American Airlines ever gives you a voucher to stay anywhere pick the Hilton. Don't go to Old Town whatever you do. Good luck go Amtrak do not fly with American they are a joke right now. They are not on time. Flights were cancelled less on the weekend. During the week on Friday is one of the worst times to fly with American. Try to pick weekend times to go and come back. You still will wait in the terminal a long time. But you are at least catch a flight before midnight. During the week they may cancel your flights quite a bit. For some reason American Airlines has scheduling problems. I don't know why.

It's an airline, they all suck. What do you expect? It got me there in one piece, can't ask for much more

Flight from Washington DC to Phoenix was on time which is all I ask from an airline
