I am sitting in Hartford waiting for American Airlines to get me to Dublin. They flew me from Albany Ny to Charlotte NC then to HartfordCT Next Philadelphia and then to Dublin. I am loosing an entire day and had to pay for a hotel and taxi. This will be my last flight for a while. They claim the weather so they can’t be held liable. I do not recommend flying with American Airlines and will not travel with them in the future. Update: I just got back from my trip. The problems continued with American Airlines from the rude agent in Amsterdam to the lost luggage when I landed back in Albany. My passport runs out in September. This trip was so bad for travel I am not going to renew the passport and will plan on driving from this point forward. If you have to travel I do not recommend American Airlines. The TSA has also added to delays and frustrations in travel. They should put the TSA on the southern border and stop the gestopo tactics at airports. Best of luck with your travels. Update, I haven’t been on a plane since. I’ve given up on flying. If I can’t drive I’m not going.

the flight we took to Miami from New Orleans, round trip, was on time and was comfortable. The mandatory mask requirement is absolutely ridiculous. It's very hard to breathe and communicate, but we of course complied. The flight attendants only job was to insure safety of the passengers before, during and after flight. However, and I don't use this term loosely, they were like flight Natzis patrolling the aisles only to insure that passengers were wearing face covering all the way over their mouth and nose. When they weren't they were rude to tell the passengers. Thank goodness the air was cool and moving on the aircraft. There are no snacks and no beverage service. You have to special request and with those attitudes my wife and I didn't want to say anything to the flight attendants.

I'm lucky enough to have flown on American Airlines in Hartford and | will never forget the great experience I had. The flight attendants were so kind, they served the best food that I've ever tasted, and they even offered complimentary drinks with our purchase of a meal. They treated me like a celebrity and 'll never fly with another airline again!

It was easy to drop someone off and they checked in super fast and easy.

Had a very pleasant experience with American Airlines employee Brigitte. She was helpful, kind, courteous, and made traveling around the holidays hassle free. I was very appreciative of her help! I wish there was a direct supervisor I could've spoken to to praise her in person! I hope she sees this and realizes what a valued employee of American Airlines she is!!
