I had a recent flight #AA2780 and the entire crew was fantastic and very helpful. Nicole M, Mallory H, Tori H, Andrea K went above and beyond to help me, a 76 year old woman and they all treated me kindly!

As a man with family both in the states and international I will never fly American airlines again. The first half of the trip went fine, Came from Seattle with layover in Dallas to Sarasota and not one issue. This was the first time we flew first class ( the first of many, pretty sure I can’t go back to coach). So the tickets (3of them) are not the cheapest but I wanted me and my sons to see what the “first class” hype was about. So $5000 later and a couple months of waiting and we were off. We traveled with carry on because of computers and we knew we would have atiming restraints once we got homeNever again. And I will make sure that no one I know flies this airline. Not even 1” over. It was t shirts. Took no effort to squeeze at all

You know the deal - if I could give negative stars I would. My vacation flight kept getting delayed hour after hour after hour with no agents at the desk to ask questions too. This is beyond frustrating being stranded at an airport while an airline company has major problems. I will do my best to not fly American Airlines in the future. I’ll pay whatever amount needed to avoid this experience again.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Weather can’t be helped. It’s how it has been handled by American that is appalling! Customer service is sparse and they don’t even try to help. 2 agents locked their door at baggage claim and wouldn’t open for customers. Waited 4 hours to retrieve bags after canceled flight. Flight times and gate info was wrong and no announcement given for an hour. Then 2 flights came in and reloaded while our flight was still listed as next at the gate. Lack of info from agents has left many frustrated passengers. But United, Southwest, & Jet Blue appear better staffed and running smoothly. I recommend flying one of these airlines over American!

I cannot stress strongly enough how disappointed I am with AA and how glad I am that I am now rid of them. Although their boots-on-the-ground personnel and planes are fine, do NOT ask them to cure even the easiest problem. They have a script and they do not deviate from it, even when it is nonsensical. They borderline extorted 6 grand from us, forcing us to invest even more with them to get access to our money. They also used British airways on one leg of our journey and British Airways charges their own fees that AA does not cover.
