Nothing is more disheartening then planning for a trip getting new luggage being told you have to put your carry-on under the plane and then getting it back totally ruined this looks like it was intentionally done I was told at the ticket counter that I had to scan a QR code to make a complaint and I only had 24 hours to do so the QR code was not working I was also told I needed a 13 digit code to attach to said complaint but at the ticket counter the lady said they don't take them down there anymore. I need my luggage replaced. There is no reason my luggage should look this way and all I'm getting is the runaround. I sent an email to customer service all I got was an automated response saying thank you for reaching out sorry you had a bad experience we will do better.

This is my second flight with AA out of ECP. First one to DC a few months was repeatedly delayed for mechanical issues then canceled altogether. This one to CLT (October 2024) is up to a bad start as well, delayed twice already for...wait for it...mechanical issues. I'm usually not an AA flyer and so far, not very impressed at all!

Terrible customer service. They cancelled our flight for Saturday June 1st and didn’t rebook us until Monday afternoon. Offered no meal or hotel vouchers forcing us to pay for two night and days of hotels and meals. Then our flight for Monday June 3rd was delayed over 3 hours causing us to again miss our connecting flight forcing us to again pay out of pocket for another hotel night and our food, zero offers of help from American. While we waited for our flight to leave for DFW we saw another flight scheduled to leave after ours take off before us to DFW with no explanation as to why. When we asked to speak to a manager or supervisor they left the gate never to return until they called for boarding to start. The flight they booked my wife and I on for Tuesday June 4 out of DFW they put us in middle seats not next to each other. No one from American Airlines at ECP was helpful or provided any sort of support.

American Airlines service at this airport is extremely poor. If you come in contact with staff member Zeina, I’m sorry for you in advance. I had checked into my flight the day prior and paid extra to have the time set to earlier in the day. The staff members at the gate refused to let me board the flight stating their system would not let me. They checked to find the seat I was supposed to be sitting in as empty and continued to lie to allow for more space for the people already onboard. After being told that there was nothing I could do but rebook my entire flight to the PM flight I had already changed, I had called customer support and they had easily gotten me on the flight after the one I had originally checked in to due to the staffs refusal to let me board. Completely incompetent and if you do not want a headache -book any other airline. Zeina will tell you any lie to get you off her back - poor miserable thing

This is the worst airline at ECP hands down. If you have any choice fly with another line. The check-in agents are rude and dont know the rules. They have different guidelines everytime I fly. The incompetence at every level I have had contact with is astounding.
