    I booked a flight coming home from Costa Rica with one stop in Dallas. When we landed, we drove the plane around for 10-15 minutes to get to a gate. When we arrive, the captain comes on and says there is another plane at that gate that "they didn't know about" and this causes us to sit another 10 minutes to find another gate and then drive around again for another 10-15 minutes. After waiting to get off the plane, tsa, customs, and baggage claim (which all went pretty well), we ran through the airport to catch our flight but missed it by a few minutes. They didnt give a heads up to any planes connecting from our flight that we were all delayed. We go to customer service, where at least half of the people from our plane ended up, and we are told the next flight is the next day. They rebook and give us two $12 vouchers for food and a shuttle to a room they comped. The food vouchers they printed were duplicates so we only got to use one and it only covered about 20% of our bill. The shuttle driver, waitress, and customer service rep said this stuff happens every night to a lot of people. Seems pretty disorganized and the way they make up for the mistakes are pretty half baked.

    I filed a claim with American Airlines back in December and had to follow up six different times just to get a response. Each time, I was met with vague updates or complete silence. It wasn't until I sent a final reminder that I finally received a prompt reply—only to be told that my reimbursement wouldn’t be processed because the item was a "wagon." It's now mid-April. Was it really necessary for this process to drag on for over four months, just to end with a flat denial? Why didn’t someone just say that up front? Honestly, the amount of time I’ve spent chasing this down should be reimbursed in itself. I expected better from a major airline. This experience has completely eroded my trust in American Airlines' customer service and claim resolution process.

    I lost my luggage and the lady there was rude and not very helpful, she was too lazy to fill out a claim and made we fill one out online which didn't take my info...overall, stay away from the Airline if possible.

    I fly mostly out of Dayton Ohio to various locations for work usually two or three times a month. The Dayton AA ground crew have to be the worst anywhere. The number of times I have sat after landing for extended times waiting for a gate is just unacceptable. This has been going on for years and it is almost as if they do not know planes are coming in. Obviously they are short staffed and AA managers obviously can’t manage.

    Missing $50 on a refund that was issued. Called the refund line and they said talk to the concerns department. Contact them to be told that refund can help. Really concerned that neither department has helped me and I'm out money that just seems to never be coming back. Finally got someone to tell me that they have no intention of refunding the rest of my money. Will not be using this airline anymore
