    Today at Charlotte International American Airlines has de-planed us two times and delayed our flights! Poor maintenance and bringing a plane to the terminal with a known hydraulic problem is troubling. How are passengers to feel safe when the airline operates like this???

    Weather caused a cancelled flight, but another flight on the same route goes the same day, while I'm delayed overnight with two small kids and no luggage. Horrible hotel recommendation from AA staff, shuttle never showed, no compensation, no compassion, no communication. Calling customer service was told families with kids are harder to re-book, so it's easier to push them to much later, or next day. AA is now the last choice for the 30 legs a year my family and I fly.

    Horrible service. Poor communication, poor time management, will cause you to miss flights and they do not care, Rude customer service, rude flight attendants, the list goes on. I will avoid using American Airlines in the future and I’d recommend the same to you. Don’t let your trip/plans get held up and ruined because or a poor quality company.

    Regional/"puddle jumper" sized plane. My worst experience I've ever had on any airline ever. The seats are crushingly small, 1 1/2 hr multiple delays, 15 minutes of 10 mph taxi-ing. Overbooked, no a/c while waiting to go. Poor communication. Unruly passengers. The imperfect storm. Flight 5979 CLT-MOB 5-28-2025.

    I seriously doubt any type of promotion American Airlines ever runs will encourage me to fly with them again. I've been on delayed flights before but they really made it seem like it was the first time they had to navigate some issues, a single issue, or even a hiccup. The entire day was an absolute train wreck, that seemed to be conducted by a mix of bath salts and terrible attitudes. Things started out rough and seemed to have a light at the end of the tunnel when we reached Charlotte Airport. We arrived and after walking 15 minutes to our gate we we only had an hour layover in what appeared to be a newly renovated part of the airport. Of course, American Airlines saw this as an opportunity to step in and cut down any hopes or thoughts of someone potentially cracking a smile. We were redirected to another gate... a much smaller gate, in an area that appeared to be under renovation, with multiple other flights that were redirected to that gate. Some of these folks were redirected there simply to be told they wouldn't be flying out and to see customer service if they wanted a refund! It was done in such an apathetic way i was in awe. We did manage to have our gate changed multiple times and each ti.e resulted in a seeder location. I feared our next stop was going to be a dumpster on the tarmac. This is genuinely only a couple of the issues we had with them that day. The list was long enough for a short story I thought people may only have the time to read while waiting on a flight with American Airlines. The day was mismanaged from start to end, ended up costing significantly more $ for the travel home (Ubers & overpriced airport food), and an entire day lost... and being talked to rudely by several employees. Terrible absolutely terrible experience!

    Delays, Gates full, Gates changes, maintenance, unrealistic connection times (only work if there are no delays) but every flight is delayed. 6 legs and not one without some issue. Then customer service gaslights you.

    ⭐️ 1-Star Review for American Airlines I have never experienced such negligence and disregard for human wellbeing as I did with American Airlines. I have a heart condition, and yet they somehow thought it was acceptable to book us on a connecting flight that required us to sprint through an entire international airport with five minutes to spare. By the time we reached the gate, my heart rate was at 130 bpm, I was in tears, and I was actively having a panic attack. By the grace of God alone, they still let us on the plane…but even that moment was handled with absolute insensitivity. The gate agent looked at me, clearly distressed, and instead of offering support, compassion, or even basic professionalism, he told me: “Be happy you made it.” Right. Because nothing says “quality customer service” like invalidating someone who is visibly struggling and treating them like an inconvenience. If that’s the culture American Airlines encourages, then it explains a lot. Honestly, I don’t blame the employee - I’d probably feel miserable working for such an unorganized, careless airline too. I cannot express how unacceptable it is that they even offer connections this tight, let alone push people with health conditions to endanger themselves just to catch the flight they booked. This experience was terrifying, completely avoidable, and absolutely the result of American Airlines’ incompetence. Do better. Or at the very least, stop putting your passengers through situations that could literally put their health at risk.
