    I never flew on a small plane of only 3 rows. However it was perfect. Employees were a delight and smooth take off and landing

    Shambolic & baffling American Airline policy. I bought a round trip ticket from American Airline, 25 days prior to my planned journey. I made the payment via credit card and promptly received the CODE and RECEIPT. I went to my destination, however, when I was trying to return to PA, I could not obtain the electronic BOARDING PASS. I had to go to the airport AA front desk and after some investigation, the nice agent informed me that my return ticket on that flight was “ inadvertently CANCELLED” and for unclear reasons, I’m no longer on that flight. Understandably I was mind-boggled as I did not receive any email or text notification of my RETURN ticket cancellation The agent said there is one seat still left in that 737 flight AA 3061. Suffice to say the person on the counter was empathetic, however charged me 3 times more than the original ticket, for the last minute ticket and said “ regretfully, you will have to pay the higher price if you want to fly tonight”. I had no choice but to purchase a new albeit a relatively expensive ticket as I had to go to work early morning,the next day. The AA airport agent did say that she will enter a brief notation in the comment section in the system at her end, and requested me to call the customer service the following day, to resolve this issue and explain the scenario and potentially request a refund. Suffice to say I called AA customer service the following day and clearly explained my dilemma, requested explanation about automatic cancellation with any notification about it. My call got escalated 3 times. Suffice to say, I had to repeat my case 3 times. After the final excavation, I was told that American Airline policy is NOT to notify the passenger ( by call, email or text message). And worse I do not qualify for any exceptions nor ANY REFUND of the money I already paid for my initial ticket. As a professional I tried to reiterate the entire situation and that I felt baffled that the AA system elected NOT to notify about my ticket cancellation despite that fact the they had my email & phone number! The lady was rather dismissive of my concerns & the financial loss as well as the last minute emotional agony & DISTRESS. I asked her to kindly email me AA policy regarding this particular scenario. However she declined to email the policy nor would provide me any on line link of reference. Suffice to say it seems that being such a larger carrier, AA’s policy seems to be only placed to protect themselves and NOT the poor suffering customer. So this was my rather unpleasant experience. Oh and btw, the customer service personnel said that I can place this on Google reviews if I strongly felt the need so I can raise awareness for people to know about AA policy regarding automatic inadvertent ticket cancellation.

    With the winterstorm in Philly, AA maintained flights in and out of PHL. Plane wasn't full, understandable in this winter storm. Airport was not busy at all and was easy at TSA and everything else, yes, SBUX did not have a line. Safe travels.....

    Today my husband was traveling by himself, he is going to lay his baby brother to rest , My husband check in two bags first but he didn't know that they required a document to be done before enter Jamaica, I over heard the lady told him $35 for one bag and 45 for the other. and she said the bag for 35 is 4 lbs over weight and the bag for 45 is 6lbs over weight so my hubby came bag out for another bag. and told to help him repack them. so I got a exta suit case and let him put his carry on in it and lighten the other bags so it could be even. the lady at Terminal A for American airlines charger my husband a $100 for the two first bag and a bag that weighted 46lbs $150 dollars alone for one bag. big scam never in my years of traveling I ever had this done to me. she was lucky because my kids was in the car. because this is a scam American airline and someone needs to reach out to because my husband has to go home lay his brother to rest, I know that lady that did his ticket saw how confuse he looked and took big advantage of his, i was talk to his mom and dad and told them and they were piss off about the $150 payment. I thought that the $150 had cover all 3 bags, nope! it was charged for a bag that only weighted 46 pounds . He was so stress that he coulsn't function to carry his carry on, I feel like my husband needs apology. Because I am not letting this go . AA 857 10:45 he was there 7:30 , My husband is a well manner man. I am very disappointed in American Airlines. I been flight all my life with this company because I had trusted you guy with my husband. And this is what happend. Mr Brooks isn't hard to be contacted. I am very angry, for my poor husband fix it or go viral! 10:45 to land 1:30 in Jamaica. run your cameras back you will see everything. because this scam been going on for a while and its getting bolder because why try to defend this nonsense when you as a representive company not getting your cut on this but only for a good establishment to be ruined by a wrong doing employee.

    Had an original flight at 3.59 pm from phl with nonstop, this was rescheduled to 5pm on day before the departure then its changed to 6pm on the departure morning, then 7.21pm 4 hrs before departure. So i rebooked the ticket to one stopper as i was not confident that this flight would take off. the rebooked flight should have started at 4.23 pm but started only at 5.45pm. Landed at ORD at 7.20pm and missed our connecting flight to LAS which was at 7.05pm. We were automatically rebooked to 8.49pm, this flight later changed 9 then 9.09 then 9.30 then finally started taxing at 10.05. With all this hastle our vacation totally started with frustration as we had to rechange our entire travel plan due to these delays.This is the most frustrating trip that i ever had in my life.My kid who has special needs suffered entirly throughout this journey. I booked my tickets with AA from a low cost carrier ( charged 1/3 of AA) just because i wanted to have a peaceful vacation, but that was not the case. We spent money for non stop flight but ended up flying 1 stop flight. With all this, our original flight from phl to LAS landed 2 hrs before the rebooked flights.

    Truck Drivers, don’t leave your straps on the load, securing the load. I didn’t remove the straps bc i had a high value load and I didn’t want to step into the trailer again without anyone seeing me. I allowed them to remove the straps from the load and they threw them on the trailer floor and rolled all over them, breaking one of the ratchets. Those ratchet straps cost $30+ each and they destroyed them that easily. The strap’s ratchet was literally wedged into my wooden floor and it left an impression in the floor. Completely unprofessional and irresponsible so if a strap wraps around a forklifts’ wheel or snatches and pops someone in the face, you’ll know why. Here’s proof they’re irresponsible and unsafe by rolling over equipment, straps,etc with their heavy equipment. If they’re unsafe with the trucking and unloading equipment. Imagine how they treat the cargo that people paid to have transported.

    The app check in was fantastic. The gate agents were friendly fast and efficient. My flight from Philadelphia to Tampa Florida was fantastic. All the staff was great.
