    Weather happens, and maintenance issues are to be expected. Experienced air travelers know and accept this. But this morning in San Francisco American Airlines boarded an entire plane only then to realize there were no pilots. So then everyone had to get back off the plane and wait for a new flight time which wasn't even known at the time. That caused us and most others on the flight to miss their connections. The alerts and flight board said on time all morning, when in fact it never was. So now we're being bounced all over the country with two connections instead of one and an arrival time past midnight which should have been dinner time. This is unacceptable. If American can't manage basic communication and scheduling functions, then its time for some personnel changes.

    My wife flew AA2418 (SFO → ORD) on business last week. She was yelled at by rude gate staff because she carried a small purse with her laptop bag and carry-on. They forced her to cram it inside, making her lose her place in line. Once seated, she took it right back out — exposing the whole ordeal as pointless, brainless posturing. Paying for priority boarding should not mean being humiliated at the gate. For business travel, where time and professionalism matter, this was money wasted and respect nonexistent. If you value efficiency, avoid American Airlines.

    I'm incredibly grateful for all the destinations American airlines has gotten me to safely. I have traveled roughly 480,000 miles with American. I'm always treated with respect and kindness. I truly feel they appreciate my business. I'll gladly recommend American airlines. Thanks American! ❤️❤️

    Today's flight attendants for flight AA 1914 were very rude to people for no apparent reason. They selected random people to but their bags on the size measurement (while people with bags that were clearly oversized could go with no problems). First class people could do whatever they want, while other couldn't have literally 2cm of the bag expander zipper opened. I has a bag that was the size of a cellphone (literally it has my passport and my phone on it) and the attendant was super rude to me saying that I couldn't use that item (while other people with paper and plastic bags were LITERALLY ON FRONT OF ME). What's the difference? My item was even smaller then theirs. And she was very rude saying that I can't argue and I should be prepared (I was the last one on the line, só I was not disturbing others as well). Never fly with these guys if possible.

    Literally split up a family traveling cross country over a one letter mis-spelling on a printed ticket. My wife had to go back to the ticketing counter and they made her rebook on a later flight even though she was standing at the gate as me and my two sons departed. I’ll add they were also rude about it. Also, no TVs on a 5 hour cross country flight? The entertainment on the phone even didn’t work so I end up trying to teach my kids to play free cell and chess on my phone. The only snacks they offered were cookies and no meals available for purchase. Will do everything I can to avoid American in the future, at least for longer flights.

    Made us gate check our stroller and bag of hand-packed, fragile, hand-made crafts from my childhood because there was “no overhead space,” then got on the plane to find half the overhead bins empty. Lazy, incompetent staff with no spacial-reasoning skills or basic math abilities. Chose another airline if possible.

    This is a newly remodeled terminal with nice clean space, comfortable chairs, sofas, work spaces and plenty of charging stations. Plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from too.
