I had one of the worst flying experiences on April 27, 2025, due to an encounter with Miyuki Lee. She was extremely rude and unprofessional from the very beginning. Before I could even finish asking my question, she interrupted me to say that sanitation would charge me for something — without even giving me a chance to explain or clarify. When we boarded the plane, I asked about an available seat, and her attitude was dismissive. Unfortunately, the situation didn’t end there. During boarding, Miyuki Lee specifically stopped me, insisting that I zip-tighten my bag extender. I complied, but moments later, she allowed another passenger to pass through without the same requirement. The inconsistent and unfair treatment was very frustrating. Additionally, throughout the boarding process, she continuously repeated the same announcements over the microphone every other minute, which was unnecessary and added to the chaos. Overall, Miyuki Lee’s behavior needs serious attention. I hope the airline addresses her unprofessionalism and ensures that no other passengers have to go through a similar experience.

The man at the gate was extremely rude to us, I haven't had any issues boarding any of my other flights with american airline except for this one. We have boarded first every flight due to having a wheelchair assistance and an infant under 2. He told me he has worked here a long time and never heard of priority boarding for family's with infants, and stated that that's not how dfw does things. He then only allowed my grandma to board with 2 people to help her and as we proceeded to board with her he told us we had too many bags but we needed to carry my toddler and infants diaper bags along with my husband's carry on since he was staying behind with the children. He then told us we were doing too much and was very condescending. I would like him to be educated on proper customer service and your own policy you have in place for infants boarding please.

American Airlines: A Shocking Disrespect for Passengers On February 17th, I experienced an appalling lack of respect from American Airlines on flight AA3078 from Dallas to Detroit. What should have been a routine journey turned into a nightmare of incompetence and indifference. The chaos began with an endless series of delays, leaving passengers stranded at the gate with zero explanation. When the gate agent finally spoke, their tone was shockingly dismissive, telling us to “find a place to eat and just relax.” It felt not just rude but downright sarcastic, as if our frustration was a joke to them. As if that wasn’t enough, agents started fleeing the gate, completely ignoring passengers begging for information. Their body language screamed that they already knew our flight was going to be canceled, yet they chose to mislead us with announcements about a gate change to another terminal—an empty one, mind you! The airport monitors didn’t update the information, and we received no notifications about this supposed “change.” It was clear we were being treated like cattle, herded around the airport with no regard for our time or sanity. After being shuffled around, we were brought back to the original gate only to be told our flight was officially canceled. The line for vouchers stretched on forever, while weary travelers just wanted answers. The expressions on the American Airlines employees’ faces told it all—they knew how terrible this situation was, and while they seemed somewhat sympathetic, it was evident they were just as miserable in their roles. Paying for expensive tickets only to be crammed into tiny seats with no legroom and treated like an inconvenience is unacceptable. American Airlines needs to wake up and realize that their passengers deserve far better than this disgraceful treatment. This experience highlighted the serious flaws in their customer service and operations. Enough is enough!

Worst airline in history. Rude staff. For sure they hate their customers. Will never fly again with them.

AA did a great job reconnecting me with my lost bag. Really went the extra mile
