Alton Main Street is a wonderful organization that stood out the moment we moved to the area. Just wandering around and looking for things to do we saw the impact this organization had on downtown and the community as a whole - the beatification work they do with volunteers, the events they coordinate, the ways they support entrepreneurs and projects to keep Alton vibrant and beautiful. We immediately became volunteers, and later even joined the board. I am proud to be a part of Alton Main Street and to collaborate with so many people who put energy into caring for our city!
