My wife and I really LOVE Allegiant Airlines. Costs are low, services are always point on and best of all - NO seat reclining. While they may go to every major city, there is usually a regional airport close by. For example instead of paying 3x to 5x for a flight to Charlotte, NC, we fly to Concord, NC, 15-20 minutes north of Charlotte. Same to visit in-laws in way northern MD,, much cheaper to fly to Harrisburg, PA, which is 30 minutes away, rather than BWI, 90 minutes away. My wife is handicapped and they always cater to any needs she has getting to and from gates and on and off planes. They have been fantastic. We still love to travel and always fly Allegiant whenever we can. And that’s not the best part! They give veterans an even sweeter deal! No bag fee, no carry on fee and no seat fee - unless you want to reserve specific seats. As a retired Marine who served in Vietnam, it’s great for the recognition. Love dis airline!!!

Very easy to book, board, fly, depart. Inexpensive but only 2 days a week from where family can fly in from. Either way great deal and great way to go.

Worst airline and "customer support" I have ever dealt with. Constant flight delays and never compensate customers for screwing up their trips. I only ever get vouchers to fly again on an airline that doesn't take care of their customers.

Flight attendant split up our family and our small children. It didn’t matter that we paid extra and preselected our seats.

Flight 2723 Delayed over 2.5hrs now, because they overbooked the flight and had to go through each seat checking tickets, only to accomplish NOTHING... Then, they have the whole plane de-board with luggage and spent over an hour reloading passengers only to sit at the gate while they try to figure out their screw ups and again start recounting ... How hard is it to check and verify a ticket as passengers board?!? Why did it take 3x to get it right?

The flight was good and the airplane was safe, but their process for traveling with a service dog is not ADA acceptable. There is an online form to fill out, which I did. My service dog was rejected, then accepted, then rejected again. (After my flight, I applied again just to see what they would say, and she was accepted.) At the airport, they would not let me fly her as a service dog. It took me at least an hour at the terminal because the attendant had to call Allegiant and the hold time is always about an hour. I had to fly my service dog in a crate and carry the crate, which hurt my spine (I have had 3 spine surgeries). After my flight I tried to communicate with the airlines according to their procedure for problems "after the flight" (write a physical letter to them), and they still said my dog is rejected. However, I have online proof of her acceptance in THEIR program called Open Doors (or shall we say "closed doors"). So I will not be flying Allegiant again. I have had no problems on other airlines with my service dog. Beware, they might stop you at the airport even if you follow their rules. Their flights aren't really inexpensive anyway, when you add all the services you have to pay for separately. The only reason I flew Allegiant is because they fly to smaller airports and the location was more convenient at the time. Never again!
