    Edit: I was quoted about $600 for an estimate but ended up paying over $1,200 for a short local move, more than 120% of the agreed price. That overcharge is a bigger concern to me than even the cracked 65-inch TV. When I brought this up, the manager William “Willy” was dismissive and unprofessional, clearly unequipped for his position and unwilling to take responsibility. Rather than addressing the issue, he simply forwarded me an email address to file a complaint before hanging up the phone. This experience felt disorganized and careless, unlike any professional moving service I’ve used before. I’d like to speak directly with someone in upper management who can properly review the billing discrepancy and damage claim. 15 days ago now. Will keep updating this review thread. My experience with All My Sons Moving & Storage was extremely disappointing. I was quoted a maximum of $600 for a short local move, only 1.5 miles within Charlotte with a few large pieces of furniture. The final bill came to $1,300, more than double the original quote, with no clear explanation or detailed breakdown. Before starting, I asked the crew to wait about 30 to 60 minutes for the leasing office to open so we could access the elevator. They told me it was fine to begin early and that they would pause once they reached that point, saying their supervisor approved the plan. Later, when I spoke with the manager, I was told the entire waiting period of about an hour and a half was billed as labor time. If that had been communicated upfront, I would have waited to start the move altogether. During booking, I was told that assembly and disassembly of furniture and wall mountings were included at no extra cost. Once the move began, the movers said that wasn’t even part of company policy. That information was never disclosed beforehand and felt intentionally misleading. Although the movers themselves were polite and seemed to be doing their best, the pace of the move made it clear that time was being stretched. At one point, a single lamp took nearly 15 minutes to be brought up 23 floors, which gives you an idea of how inefficiently the time was used. When unpacking my television, I found that the screen was damaged and no longer worked. It was never mounted or used during the move, and the damage was visible immediately once it was plugged in. After reading through other reviews, I realized many customers have experienced the same issues—being underquoted, overcharged, and told certain services were included when they were not. This seems to be a recurring pattern that the company has yet to fix. I’ve submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and plan to pursue this further if necessary. I truly hope the company takes this feedback seriously, reviews its billing and communication practices, and resolves ongoing customer issues fairly. Based on my experience, I would not recommend All My Sons Moving & Storage to anyone expecting honesty or transparency in their moving service.

    Run away from this company as fast as you can!!! We've moved a number of times over the last 5 years and this was by far and away the worst (and most expensive) experience we've ever had. We did a walkthrough with the rep who set up our move cataloguing all of our items. We then had multiple truckloads of those items donated as well as sold an entire bedroom set, and they still ended up holding our belongings hostage on the truck until we agreed to pay them $1,100 MORE than what was quoted (which was already $3,500 for a move 15 minutes down the road) even though we had substantially less stuff than what was accounted for in the estimate. When this was brought up after the move, the only explanation I'm being offered is "well, it was a non-binding estimate". We were also told that they would put all of our furniture back together in the new home, which they of course didn't do. We've had moves that turned out more expensive, but never by 30%, and never when so many items had been relinquished after the walkthrough and before the move. To top off the terrible experience, during the move several of our pieces of furniture were severely scratched, dented, and bent to the point that they no longer function, as well as put gashes in the wood stairs of our former home. After adding up all of the damaged furniture we're at around $10K worth of damages to furniture that was recently purchased and had never left the spots they were in. Thankfully we purchased full value insurance, but with the way they handled the estimate issue I have zero confidence that we'll get an appropriate reimbursement. I've included pictures of some of the damage for reference. I wouldn't wish this company on my worst enemy. Avoid at all costs!!

    I want to thank the 3 young gentlemen that came and did a great and quick job for me. All 3 very professional yet very friendly and easy to talk to as they worked. Took great caution to wrap and protect my belongings. If I move again which im sure I will at some point, I will definitely be calling ALL MY SONS to have it done and I will have the office personal look up this move by then and ask for those 3 guys to move me again. I couldnt have been more satisfied with the job they did for me. So thank you to the 3 of you fellas especially the buffalo Bills Fan as we beat the Panthers 46-9 i believe it was. Thank you again ALL MY SONS MOVERS for the great experience and at a very reasonable price. Harold Danforth 10/27/25

    I had a great experience with All My Sons Moving & Storage. The movers, Jordan and Jadakis, were extremely helpful, professional, and communicative throughout the entire process. They made sure all of my fragile and delicate items were wrapped safely and handled everything with care while moving me out of my 3rd-floor, 1-bedroom apartment into my new two-story townhome. Not only were they attentive to every detail, but they also made the move enjoyable with great conversation and support. Their professionalism and positive attitude made a stressful process much smoother. The logistics team was also excellent to work with—rescheduling was simple, and they followed up ahead of time to make sure they had a clear understanding of all key items and needs for the move. They even came prepared with additional packaging to ensure everything was protected. Overall, it was a seamless experience from start to finish, and I truly appreciated the care and effort put in by the entire team. Highly recommend!

    Howie and Rahmir assisted with my move to a home in the mountains, and they were both absolutely outstanding. They went above and beyond to ensure all of my belongings were handled with care and were incredibly friendly throughout the entire process. The only reason for my 4-star rating is due to a 7-hour delay from the moving company, which was completely outside of their control. Howie and Rahmir, however, each deserve 5 stars for their excellent service and professionalism.
