this airlines has no customer service! The agents are cold, callous, uncaring, and downright mean! Think twice before using this airline. Their mistake caused me to buy a last-minute ticket on Delta for three times the price. Just go to Delta to begin with. Government control of this airline has deteriorated its value.

My husband and I we booked a flight to Italy to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary . We got business class seats going and coming so that we could sleep and be comfortable but it wasn’t as expected. The movies on the flight that they offer were old and not up to date . Like only two were new . The food was terrible and the customer service was okay as they sometimes disappear and forgot you were there . For spending so much on this flight I don’t think it was worth it .

Had booked a flight to Rome and Venice from Seoul South Korea for May 1 - 17th. Due to COVID we were put on "no travel" for 90 days on Mar 2nd so I immediately cancelled our flight and our 20th anniversary cruise. I was charged almost 500.00 penalty and have sen them weekly emails asking for penalty to be refunded but get no reply except to send in a claim form which I have done more than once. People should not be penalized for something beyond their control and flights to Italy from Korea were stopped. All I want is my penalty refunded but all I get is a runaround. Very poor customer service!

My experience was on flight AZ604 on Jan 02,2020 from MXP to JFK. The seat I spent 9 hours and thirty minutes in was: filthy, the seat cover would not stay on and the seat was so worn that the cushion was basically gone. Packed flight. I was so uncomfortable that i should have stood. I took pictures and sent in a complaint, this is not what I spent hundreds of dollars for. They took almost a month to get back. They acknowledged my gripe and added an empty apology. No coupon for a checked bag, upgrade or discount, nothing but a long verbose email stating customer satisfaction is numero uno. I goto Italy virtually every year and stopped using Alitalia for poor service in the past, i foolishly gave them my money again but never again. Ciao.

Such a shame, as I am Italian I should put 5 stars but those workers at the counters are really really really the worse ever. Manager included. So sad how they ruin passengers mood
