Absolutely the best regional airline. Their Saab 2000s are just beautiful, the cabin crew are nice, they are similar to PenAir. I saw someone say they are gonna report this airline for it being “bad?” No, this airline is not bad! I get that it is harder and more expensive to fly in Alaska, so that is why it is so expensive to fly this airline. Keep it up!

Looking at these other reviews: did we just get immensely lucky? Flew Homer to Anchorage. All staff were nice, prompt, and clear - I don't expect anything more from them. We followed instructions online when we booked to take one small personal item and one checked item to avoid unexpected charges or checking. The seats on the Saab 2000 that Aleutian Airways flies are massive and plush like a '90s luxury sedan. I could extend my legs all the way and still not reach the seat in front of me. Flight took less time than advertised and our luggage was at baggage claim by the time we got to it.

Worse airlines ever, I rarely leave reviews for companies, because you know small companies need times to develop and to take care of customers, but that airlines don't even care about customers, they are not reliable, and have a fleet of 2 or 3 planes. The thing is they are the only one that flies to the outpost of Alaska cities. That has been said your choice is extremely limited not to say your choice is zero to none.I don't know why the state of Alaska or the FAA doesn't shut down that sketchy airlines. I would like know if there is another place or area to report bad airlines, maybe the FAA, I will report them anyway to the FAA. I definitely would like the airlines to be replaced by another one.

I wouldn’t even give this company one star if I didn’t have to. My experience was absolutely terrible. I was charged $40 for a checked bag, even though my ticket included one for free. When I asked about it, I was assured my bag would arrive at my final destination—but surprise, it’s now lost. To make matters worse, our flight was delayed by five hours, causing me to miss all of my connecting flights. I had to reschedule my remaining flights not once, but three times. Aleutian also made us wait in what can only be described as an abandoned warehouse—cracked, dirty floors, holes in the roof, and zero comfort. This was by far one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. I would not recommend this airline to anyone.

Why on Earth would I possibly need a passport for a domestic flight, let alone one that doesn't even leave the state? You wouldn't allow me to board the flight even though I had a VALID driver's license. I had to go through the ringer booking and series of taxis and had to cancel my flight because of you. I can see why this "service" has such poor ratings. I genuinely hope Aleutian Airways goes out of business for good.
