At best I would say Alaska is average at most. Here is my take, -seats are little bit may be an inch or so smaller then Delta for example. - they have more delays, at least on over 400 miles flight, especially from West Coast. So they can hardly make their mid-distance flights on time, like ever! - free tv shows, no free wifi but it's available for purchase for $8 per flight, signal quality is "mehh" at best, free entertainment wifi has good amount of shows and movies to pass time. No screens in flight unlike order airlines they went through cost-cutting, so be prepared to use your own devices. - for frequent flyers with enough points, they give like chocolates, which suck in taste 🤣 - staff isn't as nice at times as seen on other major airlines, example Delta. - I won't go into pricing, as now everything is expensive, so is Alaska airlines😀. Overall - If given option, I would recommend Delta over Alaska, but most folks on west coast don't get that many options, so Alaska or it is ! Pros- food is alright- available for purchase only

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is one of the busiest airports I’ve traveled through, yet everything ran smoothly. The American Airlines staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful when our original flight to Chicago was delayed multiple times—they quickly assisted us in rebooking through Charlotte to Jacksonville. Using Clear PreCheck made security much faster than TSA PreCheck alone. The Centurion Lounge is a great perk, though keep in mind you can only enter within 3 hours of your flight’s departure and must have a confirmed seat. Overall, a positive travel experience!

Got to use Alaska airline for the first time! It was better than frontier airline for sure. It’s funny we had to go through outside route! The weather was nice but i bet it’ll be freezing during the wintertime. Anyways, the transactions were smooth and the on board was good!

This is one of my favorite airlines and I use it all the time. It’s easy to wrap up the points. They have a special credit card which gives you companion fare also and I highly recommend it. You can buy online Wi-Fi for eight dollars and you get all the free movies. Be sure to have headphones.

This is the worst airline out there. I guess after doors falling off their airplanes they still don't take maintenance or passenger safety seriously. The plane my family and I were on (Flight 241 on Friday June 27, 2025) had to make an unplanned landing and needed to return to Seattle instead of completing our flight. Conveniently for them they went all the way back to their hub in Seattle which was much further than the distance to the final destination. Once in Seattle, Alaska Airlines abandoned all of the passengers and refused to provide new flights, assist with hotels, or even help locate food or cover the cost. Their employees refused to give their names and were a little camera shy when they were called out. "JD" who claimed to be the manager of their Seattle circus raised his hand to me when pressed on why he won't help any of the 300 passengers stranded because of Alaska Airline's negligence. The other employees ran off and were never seen again. Writing to the corporate office did absolutely nothing. One month later still no refund or any kind of offer of compensation. This airline could care less about the safety or well-being of passengers. --------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE (9/3/25): These idiots don't even care enough to respond to your concerns in an authentic manner. They send you a canned email and are too lazy and incompetent to even update the "XXX" in their template. How is this airline even in business? --------------------------------------------------------- September 3, 2025 DOT complaint #689360 Dear XXX, Thank you for sharing your comments, via the U.S. Department of Transportation, regarding your recent travel experience with us in XXX. The four of us traveled from Seattle to San Antonio mid April. The whole experience there and back was wonderful! The bag check in Seattle was so convenient and they were great with eisle chair assistance at both airports. The staff really were kind and professional. The planes were clean and comfortable. I especially appreciate the seats not reclining as I have had my personal space taken away too many times by individuals who don't consider the people behind them. For awhile we had thought about not going on our trip but in the end we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you!
