    I have not flown on this carrier too often but lately, i have! It has been a consistently a good experience. The flight crews are serious but friendly. They demonstrate the emergency procedures with a serious attitude, like it was important to pay attention. I fly weekly but on different aircraft. They always point that out. And I fly nearly every week so, it matters to me! Well done Alaska Airlines!

    I had a very upsetting experience checking in for my flight. After going through TSA, my bag was flagged because of three skincare products. I didn’t want to throw them away, so I went back to pay to check my luggage. When I finally reached the counter, the agent told me with a rude tone and expression, “you just made the cut off.” I had been at the airport early, but TSA delays made this unavoidable. When I tried to explain, she was dismissive. What made the situation worse was the supervisor’s reaction. Instead of helping, she threatened multiple times to cancel my flight if I didn’t stay quiet. I was shocked and intimidated, so I just paid the fee. The whole interaction left me in tears once I got through the process. Air travel is already stressful, but being treated this way was unprofessional and unnecessary. Passengers deserve empathy and respect, not threats

    Alaska Airlines: ONT to SEA: 737-800, First Class Quick flight from ONT to SEA, Check in, Security was not only super-fast And easy but both airline staff and TSA were very polite and accommodating. Once Alaska counter realized my “ticket” was ongoing to international with Sister airlines my excess baggage was checked in without problems. Issue, Alaska does NOT have a first class lounge! They utilize other lounge for “premium” passengers only, First Class is not allowed! REALLY!?!? I wound up getting into Aspire lounge on my own (different review). Boarding was done pretty well and departure was on time. Inflight food was pretty bad, even first class. And No entertainment at all. See what changes on my return trip next month.

    Absolute garbage. They’ve broken my luggage twice. I had to fight them just to get it reimbursed then they wanted me to travel from far away to bring them the broken luggage to get my reimbursement. Today though, a whole new low. They gave my seat away. Blowing up my phone all morning telling me to check in while I was on my way to do just that. I got there an hour and a half early to check in I was told that I was bumped from the flight. Not one single one of those employees could tell me why. Mind you, I am blind and require assistance. I had paratransit scheduled to pick me up from the airport when I arrived to my destination. Now, I will have to pay close to $100 in Uber fees to get home. Thanks a lot Alaska for nothing. You suck. Do better.

    I give a 5 star, because the staff new how to handle boarding, even if the airport placed the wrong flight on 206 to Seattle. Also instead of a sour face, the greeting was a happy face, the attendants handle the loading and priority to elderly and handicap, followed by our service man, which were greated with much admiration and appreciation. Overall a great boarding experience. 😌 but I think it's time to upgrade the airplane paint and logo.
