No Alaska Airline agents at terminal E. The app will not allow many passengers to check in, many others are here to drop off the bag before the flight. Instead of coming up to the gate to help, they sit in the baggage claim yapping away instead of starting the process and helping while more and more passengers add to the line. This gate has some serious issues when it comes to being able to help customers in a timely manner, especially when issues arise. What’s the point in getting here early if there’s no one here to help and they will “slowly make their way up there”. If you look to the left and see Delta Airlines, they’ve got it right.

By far the worst flying experience of my life. They delayed my flight from Seattle due to a mechanical issue. Even though the cabin filled with jet fuel fumes due to an igniter issue they still decided to keep us in the plane for over two hours before changing planes. They caused me to miss a connection flight that wasn’t through them or one of their affiliates due to them not flying to that destination. I had to pay $200 out of pocket for another flight the next day as well as a hotel by the airport for $177. The desk attendant at Seattle said “we’re not obligated to help you with anything due to the flights not being with Alaska or an affiliate, the only thing we have to do is get you to Dallas and we’re done.” The desk attendant at Dallas was more understanding and said as long as i have receipts to prove i actually had issues they caused then it shouldn’t be a problem. The attendant gave me the number and i called immediately after speaking with them. The first person i spoke with was just as understanding and made it very clear that they should absolutely have to take care of the issues but i had to be transferred to another department to take care of the rest. Unfortunately the hold time was over an hour and i had been awake for 20 hours at this point so i took the number and called back when i got to the airport the next day (checkout was at 12 and my flight didn’t leave till 5:30 so i had time to kill anyways). I spoke to someone and had to be transferred again, (we all know the drill at this point) after 3 hours of holding/ 5 people that “couldn’t” help i got to a supervisor. They gave me a $125 flight voucher which didn’t even cover the entire cost of their own flight much less the other flight, the hotel, or the lost wages from missing work (i know nobody is going to do anything about missed work but it still sucks.) After i made the comment that I’ve missed a flight due to a three hour TSA delay before and American airlines still offered to help she had the audacity to tell me they had the best customer service in the industry then proceeded to hang up on me… This experience was absolutely atrocious from start to finish. If i could give 0 stars i would. The worst part is knowing this stupid review is the only thing i can do and it isn’t going to do anything at all. Hope it helps someone else avoid this dumpster fire of an airline.

I used to love flying this airline when it was at Dallas LoveField airport. I tried flying Alaska Airlines a few times since they moved to DFW, and it’s just AWFUL now. The vibe is uncomfortable and tense. It seems like every employee doesn’t want to be there and their service reflects it. I don’t know what’s wrong with this location but I have enough negativity in my life. I don’t need to pay good money to experience more of it.

Sabrina the ticketing agent was very hateful in the way she communicated. Snapping that I needed to wait to be called ( as I walked up following the prior person leaving). I said no problem take your time to which she replied “Don’t worry, I will”. Needs to have a manager talk to her about customer service skills.

To the ladies working at the counter in DFW for Alaska Air Lines. I appreciate you so much. Due to an error with the booking agent, they couldn’t find our tickets. But the lady at the counter worked and worked till she figured it out. She didn’t have to but she made our problem hers.i believe her name is Faith. Thank you so much. Definitely a valued person.
