⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Service at Anchorage – Thank You, Nicholas! We had a 4:40 AM international flight out of Anchorage and as recommended arrived three hours early. Navigating early morning travel and an international connection (with another airline via Vancouver) can be overwhelming but we were lucky enough to be helped by Nicholas at Alaska Airlines—and he was absolutely incredible. Nicholas went above and beyond to assist us. He patiently answered our questions, guided us through the process and did everything he could to make our connection as smooth as possible. His calm, professional and genuinely caring approach made a huge difference at such an early hour. Although we unfortunately missed our connecting flight in Vancouver, we still wanted to give a big shout out to Nicholas—a truly outstanding employee who embodies what great customer service should be. Elisa! The Most efficient check in hostess I've seen in years. She was cordial but quick. I watched as she worked and outchecked the other assistants there by a 3 to 1 (persons) ratio. She on her game, and she be recognized as an exemplary employee,,,,to me she is.

I put my own bag tags on my bag, got in line to speak to an agent. I knew I was probably not going to make my flight since there was only 1 agent working bag drop, and 2 working the counter, even though I got there 1 1/2 hours before my flight. The SUPERVISOR, his name is Russell, pulled me out of line, with only a few ahead of me, and insisted that I go to bag drop. Bag drop sent me back to Russell. Instead of helping me get on the flight, he made me get to the back of the line, and wait again. I missed another flight because of the wait.

Not even close to the best air carrier anymore. Bad service and constant flight cancellations are the norm these days. I’m moving over to Delta Airlines. Way better all around.
