We checked in a puppy today for a customer that was supposed to be flying out at 10:50 AM. We got a call at 11:11 AM from someone stating that the puppy didn't go due to having an accident, then said they were going to send it to an animal shelter. It appears like American Airlines and Air General take your money, then send pets to the animal shelter instead of sending them to their actual destination. Fortunately we have experience and know additional people that were able to remedy the situation and get the puppy to its end destination instead of going to a rescue shelter.
