I couldn't be happier with Air Excursions. It was pricey (I flew from Juneau to Gustavus), but I forgot what it was to not be hassled flying somewhere. I wasn't sure what to expect and showed up early to my flight -- didn't have to go through security and I probably could have showed up about 10 minutes before my flight. The pilot was great and there were only four people total on my flight. So much better than regular flights! I flew back from Gustavus on Alaska Airlines (which is probably the best American airline) and the difference was night and day. I got hassled by TSA who confiscated my bug spray, my bag was searched, and we we told to board the flight 40 minutes before we took off for a 20 minute flight. Yup -- I had to get to the airport an 1 and a half early for a 20 minute flight. WTF. I wish I booked my return flight with Air Excursions (AKA Alaska Seaplanes).

Dave was an exceptional pilot and the ladies at Haines were great 👍.

Great people at the Haines terminal. Very friendly and helpful. Good flight to and from Juneau.
