Great little airport community inside the city of McKinney. Runway is very well serviced and taken care of along with the taxiways. Things can be a little tight maneuvering around the airfield in an airplane and you do need to be watchful when driving around the airport in a vehicle as there is a little bit of concern for head-on situations for cars and aircraft due to the limited space. I definitely enjoy taking off and landing at this location and will definitely be back.

This is a great airport located just west of McKinney (TKI) with a variety of based aircraft. On an early summer weekend morning, the airport slowly comes alive with the great sound of Continentals, Lycomings and other model engines waking up ready to take flight. The airport property is kept in very good shape with nicely manicured grass and plenty of signs to keep aircraft and autos in separate areas of the airport.

There should be stricter hours. 8am is too early for airplanes flying low over your house. I also find it disrespectful that they flight right over the homes so low. Its both risky and incredibly obnoxious.

This is an amazing airport but the board members are too old. They’re almost anti-new pilots here. If your a school or a new trainee, the board will make life hell for you. They will kick you out in an instant if you don’t agree with them on the littlest of things. The facilities are ok, no FBO, management needs a full refresh, and some new safety procedures need to be put in place for sure.

Great fun, Aero Country couldn't be more perfectly situated location wise. Close to home and in range of fun flight opportunities, last time we took a quick trip up to Texoma for a loop around the lake and were back before lunch!
