Friendly and helpful staff, and quite busily going about their work. If you looked lost, almost any one of them would ask if you need help finding something. I didn’t need outright help, as I was just looking for an outdoors light coat. They have a great supply of hunting coats, under shirts, and more. And I had been eying their selection of coolers, which is quite the varieties. If I do get sent out here for work again, you can be sure that this is one of the places I’ll be stopping for more outdoor gear, and definitely going to get one of the coolers I had been eying. Thanks to the friendly staff for making my post-shift that much brighter as well, for when I was checking out. Y’all have excellent customer service, and a good clean store.

Called the Bossier City La store with a question about availability in the gun department....the youngster that answered the phone said what do you need we are busy... Asked my question and he answered it and said...are you done... I use to spend a lot of my hard earned money there, but will not any more

Stopped by so my wife could make a few purchases. Store is always neat and clean but the service can be terrible. We stood at the gun display and counter for about 15-20 minutes with an employee standing about 10 feet away; employee never engaged or said anything. When my wife found what she wanted, the lady seemed not interested in assisting with the purchase. When we did the paperwork, she told us it would be a few hours to get a response back so we went to eat. We didn't come back that evening, so my wife stopped by the very next day. The lady was there again & said the process would have to start over since we didn't return. She never said we had to or not return the same day. In the end, my wife made her purchase at the other Academy in Shreveport.

Easy online ordering! No offer of assistance to get purchase secured in car. It was a utility cart that was really heavy and did not fit well in my car. Would have appreciated an offer to help even if not much could be done.
