I had signed up for auto and renters insurance. However I don't get proper responses from my agent despite multiple follow-ups. I decided to switch insurance providers and had sent out emails to my agent as well as called multiple times mentioning that I do not want my renters or auto renewed. I also tried cancelling it directly with the insurance but because it was via an agent they said I needed to get it done via my agent. Despite mentioning well in advance for the cancellation , it was renewed and I was charged for the renewal. I called up to try and get a refund as I have all the emails but they say they cannot refund the full amount.

I called around 4pm for a tow, AAA sent a driver without a tow truck. He was helpful in assessing what was going on but unable to tow. I then spent another 3 hours being told “the driver is 20 minutes away” and they never came. I only recieved a driver when I informed the operator of police asking me to move and threatening loitering and fines. FINALLY I got my car towed, which should have been the end of the issue but unfortunately it wasn’t. My car was supposed to be towed from Winchester Mass to Maynard Mass. yet around 9:30 pm I get a message that my car had a service request from Woburn to Maynard. I’m not sure how this could be as I specifically reminded the operator of the address in Maynard and confirmed the address with the driver. I once again had to call to figure out why this was, to which I was not given an answer and instead had to wait for 25 minutes for an answer as to why my car was there, which I was told “we aren’t sure, he must have been busy.” I was then told I’d have a confirmation call or text sent to me when the vehicle was picked up and STILL this text never came. I went to bed last night not knowing where my car was, or if any of my personal belongings were safe inside. I called again multiple times this morning to confirm my cars location and that it was safe and every operator I talked to was unable to confirm its location or give me any updates towards the vehicles condition. I only ever knew my car was at my mechanics because I called the tow company directly and got sent their tow logs to confirm this information. This was absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with AAA tow service. Not only was I constantly pushed off, but I was left wondering where my vehicle and my belongings were. This process should not have taken 4 hours, as I told the operator from the beginning my car would not start or turn over. I was continuously given false information, told I would be called within 10 minutes and never was, was to be contacted by a supervisor and never was, and ultimately had to track down my own vehicle despite paying for a service to ensure my vehicle is handled and taken care of. I would not recommend anyone to use or sign up for AAA, as this is a horrendously run service. They wasted my afternoon and time, and gave me the run around in order to try and keep me happy. Had I known it would have taken 4 hours I would’ve called a tow company myself.

I called roadside service on August 3, 2025, at 9:02 PM… I was told my call was treated as a priority. It is now 12:24 AM on August 4th. This is unacceptable. I'll never forgive them for this! I'm still waiting………. Update at 1:34 AM: Before this at 9 PM, they told me my call was a priority. I called again, for an update. They said eta was 10:45 PM. I called again and they said the driver is backed up. And it was already around 11 PM. I called again, they said another 60 mins!!! I called when that time came up. I called again, they said the eta from 10:45 PM was an additional 60 TO 90 mins!!!!!! The “TO 90 mins” is new, news to me… And that rep told me, the driver is finishing a job and im next in quene. It is now 1:39 AM. I am on the phone line again with them. And the call rep have me on hold. It is now 1:50 AM and I just got off the phone. They said another 60 minutes!!!!!! How is it another 60 mins if I am next in the queen. They said I can pay private for another two out of pocket. OR…. I can leave my car door unlocked with the key in it. My car died in a no-parking zone. I can't do that, and then they said best they can do is offer to contact the police to do a welfare check on me. Another update at 1:56 AM: because AAA thinks I have all the time to sit and wait around. After being so patience and understanding. I no longer care about being nice and had to ready stand up for myself. I FINALLY received a link that a fleet is now on the way and the ETA 8-9 mins. I can finally be home with my family now.

Came in for help with a flight. I’ve been a AAA subscriber for years alongside my father. My appointment was for 11:25. I walked out at noon. I hope the blonde woman in booth 6 gets out more, she was way too eager to talk about work drama and then proceeded to make loud personal phone calls.

Absolutely terrible. My truck broke down at a gas station in Westport MA and I called around 9 PM. After telling me that the tow truck could be there by 10:45 at the latest, I then was told they wouldn’t be there til about 1 AM and should leave it there with the keys inside. After getting driven home by a relative I hadn’t slept and stayed up all night waiting for AAA to update me. I called and got 3 different stories from different service representatives about the status of my vehicle, each of them more condescending and rude than the last. One rep even told me that the truck had been picked up at 10:50 PM and was awaiting dispatch. The next woman I spoke with after that told me there was no record of this. I ended up calling a local towing company to get the vehicle towed to their shop and I am still yet to hear from AAA. I am at this point wondering if they will even show up to realize that the truck is gone. I did not tell them I got a different tow truck. The fact that somebody could’ve stolen the truck and AAA either did not show up to know this at all or did show up and did not contact me to update me that the truck was nowhere in sight, is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Furthermore, had I not been able to get a ride home, I would’ve been left to sleep in my car until the next day, if they even showed up. So much for 24 hour service. I am not even sure why we even pay for AAA anymore. This is very unprofessional and the company should be held responsible for this. The last bit of advice I can give to anyone weighing your options for roadside service, don’t even choose AAA even as a final resort. They will not help you. You will be stranded indefinitely. This is the last time I ever use AAA. I would love to see what kind of patronizing reply I get to this review from AAA but if they take as long to reply to reviews as they do to reply to calls, I don’t think I’ll stick around to find out.
